It’s all about starting with a big glass of water and some movement. Oh, and I’ve made it a rule not to touch my phone for at least half an hour after waking up— it really helps me get into a more positive mindset to start my day.
I’ve definitely had to be more independent and intentional with how I use my time in the past six months since diving into more freelance work. Making a list has been a life saving for me—setting realistic goals and prioritizing my top three tasks each day
I’ve learned that having an overly complicated list can be a bit demotivating. So, I focus on knocking out the most urgent tasks and tackling the ones I like the least first. Then, it’s onto the easier, more enjoyable stuff.
Time-blocking has been a lifesaver too. I like setting specific, achievable timeframes for tasks and taking healthy breaks in between to recharge.
Mmm, I think it’s all about finding ways to show love to myself and those around me. For me, self-love is wrapped up in self-care, setting healthy boundaries, and being with people who lift me up. Whether it’s a cozy date night with my boyfriend, a refreshing walk with my sister, or just sharing a coffee and a chat with friends, it’s those little moments that really mean the most.
Choosing just one HOS piece is tough, but right now, I’m really into my Figaro chain. I’ve been wearing it non-stop with my cartoosh, and even after six months, it’s still shiny and golden as ever
Over the past 6 months, I’ve navigated some of the toughest moments both professionally and personally. It’s been a real rollercoaster, but taking a step back to reflect has been eye-opening. Despite the challenges, it’s made me realize how much I have to be grateful for and how far I’ve come as a person.
The pandemic has brought into focus all the things I wish I could have done, and that’s been a bit of a mental struggle. But through it all, I’ve learned the importance of setting healthy boundaries, being patient and less critical with myself and accepting where I am in life.
I’ve lost and come close to losing some really important relationships and friendships, but it’s been a powerful reminder of the kind of people I want to surround myself with and the person I aspire to be.
I love unwinding after a busy day by going for a big walk if it’s still light outside, or coming home to my boyfriend and cooking up a delicious, healthy homemade dinner together. Then, we cuddle up to watch a movie or TV show—my idea of the perfect, relaxing evening.
Most of my exciting plans are still in the dreaming phase at the moment, haha! But one adventure that’s definitely happening is attending my childhood friend’s wedding at the end of the year.
It’s going to be my first Indian wedding, so I’m really excited to experience all the festivities and traditions, and maybe visit some family whilst I’m there!
